Who handles your data
The data controller is:
For any question about your data: admin@behairbe.be or +32 2 256 54 49.
What this site collects
Nothing. This site is a static page. In practice:
- no cookies are placed on your device;
- no trackers, no audience measurement, no advertising tools;
- no forms, so no data entered by you;
- no requests to third-party services: fonts and images are hosted with the site and are not loaded from an external server.
This is why no consent banner is shown to you: there is nothing to consent to.
The host's technical logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. and served from its European infrastructure. Like any web server, it automatically records the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type.
These logs are used only to run the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing a secure online service. They are not used to profile you and are kept for a limited time by the host.
Online booking
The "Book" button takes you to Optios, the booking platform the salon uses. You then leave this site, and the data you enter there (name, phone, email, requested appointment) is processed on the Optios platform, which acts as our processor.
The information you submit on the booking platform does not pass through this site and only reaches us through your appointment record. Its processing is governed by the platform's terms, in addition to this policy.
Reviews shown on this site
The "Reviews" section shows a selection of our Google reviews: only 4- or 5-star reviews that include a comment. The overall rating and total count shown next to them, however, cover all reviews received, unfiltered, and a link leads to our full Google listing where every review can be read.
These reviews are retrieved through the Google Business Profile API from our business listing, where their authors published them publicly. We do not write, commission or edit any review.
Out of respect for their authors, we only show the first name followed by the initial of the last name, and no profile photo: full names and images hosted by Google are not sent to your browser. Retrieval happens server to server; viewing this page does not send any request to Google.
Your data as a salon client
As part of our business relationship, we process:
- your contact details: name, phone, email address;
- your service history: services carried out, colour formulas and references, so results stay consistent from one visit to the next;
- your appointments: dates, stylist, cancellations;
- billing data: amounts, payment method. We do not keep your bank details: card payments are processed by our payment terminal and its provider.
On what basis
- Performance of the contract for booking and for the service itself;
- Our legal obligations for accounting and invoicing;
- Our legitimate interest in keeping your technical colour history;
- Your consent, only if you agree to receive reminders or non-essential communications. You can withdraw this consent at any time, without giving a reason.
For how long
- Accounting records are kept for 7 years, as required by Belgian law.
- Your client record is kept for the duration of our business relationship, then deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.
Who else has access
We do not sell or rent your data. It is only shared with the providers needed to run the salon (booking platform, website host, payment provider, accountant), each bound by confidentiality and acting only on our instructions. It may also be disclosed to an authority when the law requires it.
Your rights
The GDPR gives you the right to request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of its processing, its portability, as well as the right to object to certain processing and to withdraw your consent where it is the legal basis.
Write to admin@behairbe.be. We reply within one month. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: dataprotectionauthority.be, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
Changes
This policy may be updated if the site or our tools change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Any significant change will be announced on the site.
